How do I register with MySharedPhotos?
You cannot register directly through the site interface. To register with MySharedPhotos.com you need to download MySharedPhotos Uploader from our site. Follow the guide and compile your first album. Before uploading, a registration procedure will start automatically. Fill in the form with your login and e-mail and click [Register] button.

What is the purpose my e-mail address will be used for?
The purpose of e-mail is to provide communication between MySharedPhotos team and the customer. We guarantee that the e-mail you provide will be use only for contacting you on the matters regarding MySharedPhotos service: providing and retrieving your password, sending payment confirmations, tariff plan updates and expiration remainders, information messages allowing you to track your actions such as registration, album uploading and editing, changing personal details etc. Click here to read more on our security and privacy policy.

What do I do, if my login and password does not work?
1. If you are a registered user but unable to login, please check up if your login and password are correct and make sure that the Caps Lock key is off. If you still experienced difficulties please contact us at support@mysharedphotos.com.
2. If you are new to MySharedPhotos.com and are unable to add yourself as a new user to our database - most probably the server is experiencing difficulties, try to complete the registration procedure later.

What do I do if I forgot my password?
If you forgot your password you can either request for quick password retrieval on the registration page of the MySharedPhotos Uploader application. Launch MySharedPhotos Uploader and click [Manage your account] button, select password retrieval option. Or e-mail our support team at support@mysharedphotos.com. Your password will be sent out to the e-mail address that you have entered during your registration procedure. Don't forget to specify your Login.

Where can I look up and modify my personal information?
If you want to view or change any of the personal details you have submitted - open MySharedPhotos Uploader and click [Manage your account] button, select [View/Change Details] option and click [Next] button to proceed. Now you can add and modify your personal information. To update the information on the server please click [Update] button.

What do I do if I want to cancel my account?
The account cancellation is an automatic procedure: an account will be cancelled upon expiration of the tariff plan it has been subscribed to.
If you wish to delete albums from online storage - you can do it manually. Launch MySharedPhotos Uploader and click [Create/Edit albums] button, then select delete album option.

Image uploading and keeping
What do I need to upload my pictures?
If you want to store your pictures at the space, provided by our site, the first step you need to take is to download MySharedPhotos Uploader from our site. It is a picture editing and uploading tool, you can learn more about it here. Before uploading, the program will ask you to authorize, if you are a registered user, or to register, if you are new to MySharedPhotos. You cannot upload images from our web site interface.

When I launch MySharedPhotos Uploader and I got a message from my firewall application. What should I do?
MySharedPhotos Uploader is an application that requires internet connection for its operation. It needs to access MySharedPhotos.com server to upload an album or to refresh the existing albums or your account information in case they have been modified. If your computer is protected with a firewall, it may show a warning message about blocking MySharedPhotos Uploader.

This is the example of the message returned by the firewall supplied with Service Pack2 for Windows. You should unblock MySharedPhotos Uploader, otherwise your album won’t be uploaded or the changes you have made won’t be applied.

What are the terms on which my album is being kept?
We are responsible for safe-keeping of your albums only when you are on a valid tariff plan and your photo albums don't have restricted content.

How can I create my own home page to store my photo albums on the web?
MySharedPhotos offers you the opportunity to create you own home page with a guest book and guest counters to store your photo albums and moblogs. The web page is automatically created as soon as you upload your first album. The direct link to your home page will be http://username.mysharedphotos.com.
Note! This service doesn’t require any addition fee.

How can I protect my photo albums from public view?
MySharedPhotos offers you the possibility to protect your photo albums from public view.
After you have created your photo album MySharedPhotos Uploader will automatically prompt you to protect the access to your photo album with a password. Just follow the instruction of the wizard.
If your photo album is already uploaded and you wish to restrict access to it, open MySharedPhotos Uploader under [Create/Edit albums]. Go through steps 1-4 without making any change, then select public view protection option at step 5. Please note the above option is unavailable for default tariff subscribers!

Can I edit the images offline in MySharedPhotos Uploader?
You can only use MySharedPhotos Uploader while your connection status is online.

Can I edit my albums after they are uploaded?
Yes, you can add or remove pictures from the album, change the album style or perform any other alterations after your album is uploaded. Open MySharedPhotos Uploader and click [Create/Edit albums] button. Please note the above option is unavailable for default tariff subscribers!

How can I remove an entire album?
To delete albums from online storage launch MySharedPhotos Uploader, click [Create/Edit albums] button and select delete album option.

How can I share my album with friends?
After you have successfully uploaded an album, it will be stored at our site and receive its own link. We notify our users with an e-mail of each time an album is uploaded. You can find a link in this e-mail or it will be shown in MySharedPhotos Uploader window immediately after the upload is completed. Simply mail this link to your friends and family!
Note! If you have selected public view protection option, don’t forget to send the password together with the link to enable your friends to access your photo album!

How do I find my friends' or relatives' albums?
If someone has sent you a direct link of an existing album, you can copy it to your browser's address window. Or, you can use our searching system if you follow these links: find album, find user.

Managing mobile albums
How can I create my moblog?
To create your moblog or mobile photo album, the first step to take is to register with MySharedPhotos. Please note that you cannot register using our web site interface, you need to download the MySharedPhotos Uploader. Click here for more info about the registration process.
After you obtain your login, you can create your first mobile photo album. Just send an e-mail containing at least one photo to username@mysharedphotos.com (where username means your login).
Note! To send the e-mail please use only the e-mail address you indicated at registration as sender’s address. Otherwise you message will be rejected for security purpose.
You can add a comment to your mobile album by writing it in mail Subject field.
Note! This service doesn’t require any addition fee.

How can I edit my mobile album?
At present mobile album service is available in test mode only. That means you can’t remove and edit your photos in mobile album, as well as change comments after uploading. However we intend to add editing feature in future.

How can I find my mobile album on the web and share it with friends?
After you have successfully created a mobile album, it will be stored at our site and receive its direct link http://username.mysharedphotos.com/inbox.htm. We notify our users with an e-mail of each time a moblog is uploaded. You can find a link in this e-mail or in MySharedPhotos Uploader message center. Simply mail this link to your friends!

What tariff should I choose?
When you register you become automatically signed up for a free default tariff valid for 30 days. If you won’t update to another tariff within 30 days, your albums will become subject to removal. For detailed information on available tariffs click here.

How much space is provided for my photos?
Unlike other photosharing sites, we calculate our tariffs according to the number of albums and pictures, not to the actual space they occupy. This way you are enabled to store high-quality images. The maximum number of pictures and albums depends on your tariff plan. For more information about the number of pictures allowed for each tariff click here.

How do I know that all transactions I make are secure?
All orders and payments on behalf of MySharedPhotos.com are processed by 2CheckOut.com payment system. The entire order process is protected via a secure SSL (Secure Socket Layer) connection. No transaction can be made without customer’s consent. Click here to read more about 2CheckOut.com privacy and security policy. All information about the transactions is stored at MySharedPhotos.com as well as in the database of 2CheckOut.com, written payment confirmations are sent to the customer with a copy forwarded to MySharedPhotos.com to avoid any risk of loss.

How do I pay the fee?
